A meeting with a guide and the beginning of a sightseeing tour of Yerevan - one of the oldest cities in the world, the history of which begins from the eighth century BC and has already been around 3000 years old. Visit to the Square of the Republic of Armenia, Matenadaran: one of the largest repositories of ancient manuscripts in the world, Cascade, Northern Avenue, Opera and Ballet Building. Visit to the cognac factory, tour with a tasting of two types of Armenian cognac. Next, departure to the carpet factory Transfer to the national Armenian restaurant. Welcome Dinner. Next return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with the guide. Visit to the Museum of Sergei Parajanov. Acquaintance with the Museum. Next visit to the pagan temple of Garni. The temple was built in the 1st century and is dedicated to the ancient Armenian sun god Mihr. The temple consists of 24 columns, which symbolized 24 hours of the day. A visit to the Garni Gorge "Symphony of stones."  Then Departure to the monastery complex Geghard (beginning of the 4th century), which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Yerevan. Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with a guide in the hotel lobby. Beginning of the journey to Khor Virap. Khor Virap is the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia, since this place is directly connected with the adoption of Christianity as the state religion in Armenia, in the 301st year. St. Gregory the Illuminator, the patron saint of Armenians, converted King Trdat 3rd to Christianity here, but was previously imprisoned in an underground dungeon, above which the church of the monastery of Khor Virap was built in the 17th century. Next, transfer to the Areni winery, where an excursion with a wine tasting will take place. Further, overcoming a narrow and winding path surrounded by rocks, with hundreds of caves, moving to Noravank, where everyone will find here the harmony of architecture with an unforgettable and amazing nature. Breakfast in the hotel. Moving to Ashtarak. Ashtarak is one of the oldest cities in Armenia with numerous monuments of material culture and traditions of national life and life. It is famous for its areas, streets, houses, landscape. Further visiting the house-museum of Perch Proshyan, the house-museum of the outstanding writer Perch Proshyan (1837-1907) was created in 1948 in Ashtarak, on the basis of his parental house, to which three exhibition rooms were further attached. Transfer to Saghmosavank, which was founded in 1215. Next, departure to Gyumri, which is the second largest city in Armenia and is located in the north-west of Shirak region. Gyumri is different from other cities that you visited before. This is where traditions, legends, and simple human stories come together. This is one of the few places in Armenia where you can see the architecture of different time periods. Breakfast in the hotel. Beginning of the tour. The tour begins with a museum of folk architecture and urban life. The beautiful mansion, turned into a museum, consists of two parts. Then visit Vardanants Square, which is not only the historical, but also the spiritual center of the city. In the central part of the square, fountains have been flaunting since the Soviet era, which several years ago became "singing" to the delight of both residents and guests of Gyumri. Lunch at the national restaurant. Acquaintance with the culture of the Old Town. Transfer to Amberd Fortress. Amberd royal fortress was built in the 11-13th centuries. The main architectural features of medieval construction are reflected in this fortress. Next to this secular building is a small church, built in 1026 by Duke Wagram Pahlavuni, giving charm to this landscape. For a long time, Amberd fortress served as an important military fort. Upon returning to Yerevan, check-in to Letter Park, which is a small plain in size, on which all the letters of the Armenian alphabet are carved from tufa, each the size of a man.

Lake Sevan - “The Blue Pearl of Armenia”, one of the largest freshwater, high mountain lakes in the world, where a beautiful landscape and crystal water serve as a good prerequisite for a great holiday. The lake is also famous for its peninsula and medieval church complex, built in 874. Next, moving to Dilijan - the greenest resort in Armenia, which is truly called the Armenian Switzerland; this is one of the favorite places for family vacations in Armenia. Departure to the Haghartsin monastery complex.

“Haghartsin.” Built in the 10-13th centuries, the Haghartsin monastery is located in the forests of the Tavush region, among the dense forests of the Dilijan region. Later, new buildings were added to the monastery. The complex consists of the churches of St. Grigor, St. Astvatsatsin (Virgin Mary), St. Stepanos and other buildings. A huge oak tree, which is almost the age of the monastery, complements the whole scene. The magnificent landscape of green forests and mountains enhances the beauty of the entire complex.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the fruit market. Next excursion to Etchmiadzin. The cathedral, which is known as the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and is rightfully considered one of the oldest Christian churches in the world. Legend has it that it was here that Jesus Christ came down from heaven to show the place where the church should be built. Then visit the Zvartnots temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Zvartnots, also known as the “Temple of the Vigilant Angels”.The building erected with the filing of Catholicos Nerses III laid the foundation for a new architectural direction. Unfortunately, the temple stood for only 300 years. Today, on the territory of the Zvartnots temple, an archaeological museum and reserve have been opened, where you can see models of reconstruction of the church, fragments of an ancient structure, as well as well-preserved massive stone slabs. Return to Yerevan. Free time. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan. Transfer to the airport and departure.
