The excurssion includes visiting the Republic Square, Statue of “Mother Armenia” in the Victory Park, Opera nad Ballet National theater, Swan lake, Cacade complex and the Gafeschian museum. Visiting the brandy factory “Ararat” or “Noy” with a degustation. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with the guide. Visit the Parajanov Museum. Then visit the pagan temple of Garni. The temple was built in the 1st century and is dedicated to the ancient Armenian sun god Mihr. The temple consists of 24 columns, which symbolized 24 hours of the day. A visit to the Garni Gorge "Symphony of stones." * Lunch at Garni, pastries, and tasting of Armenian lavash ($ 15) per person. Then depart to the monastery complex Geghard (beginning of the 4th century), which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Yerevan. Free time. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

It was founded in 1215, when the knight Vache Vachutyan ordered to build the temple of Saint Saghmosavank The monastery is well-known for having a depository of ancient books and manuscripts. Here were made and copied numerous miniature illustarations. The Saghmosavank library is very rare by its unique collections.
.Comeback to Yerevan. Transfer to Megeryan Carpet factory. Carpet weaving has a very ancient history in Armenia. From historical times Armenian had a different and unqiue attitude to carpets and carpet-weaving. Armenian carpet-weaving teqniches are well-known around the world. Megerian family has been doing the carpet business for more that 4 generations. Today they weave carpets with traditional Armenian ornaments and they are of a very high-quality. In the center of Megeryan you can purchase carpets and try weaving them yourself and also have a traditional Armenian dinner (which is optional and is 20USD per pax).
