Echmiadzin and Zvartnots - a daily tour
Echmiadzin: the Cathedral of Echmiadzin – the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and one of the most ancient Christian churches in the world. According to the legend Jesus Christ himself came down from heaven to point the place where the church should be built. Zvartnots: A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Armenia. This wonderful temple is the result of the courage and creativity of the 7th century Armenian architects. The temple was demolished in 939AD because of an Earthquake. However even the ruins today witness the fact that Zvartnots was built to be a medieveal architectural masterpiece.

• The Cathedral of Echmiadzin – the residency of the Catholicos of all Armenians.
• Saint Hripsime and Gayane Churches, not far from the Cathedral
