The cusine of Armenia is as old as its history. The traditional reciepes are more than 2000 years old. The cuisine reflects the history and traditions of the Armenian nation. It is both rich and various. With this tour you will uncover all the tastes Armenia has to offer.

Welcome to Armenia and Yerevan - one of the most ancient cities around the wold, older than Rome, having a history of 3000 years already.  Here in Yerevan the guests will be settled in one of the best possible hotels, after which there's a meeting with the guide and an evening city tour in Yerevan during which the following sights will be visited:
The republic square,
Tsisternakaberd - a monument dedicated to the victims of the Armenian genocide in 1915,
"Mother Armenia" statue situated in the Victory park,
Cascade complex,
The National theater of Opera and Ballet,
The Northern avenue.
The final stop will be at the "Vernisage" open-air market of arts and crafts.

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Tsaghkadzor - one of the best winter resorts in Armenia, situated near the mount of Teghenis which 1845 meters above the sea level. In comparison to other resorts Tsaghkadzor is inviting in both sumertime and wintertime. Here is the Monastery of Kecharis which will be our next stop.
A transfer to Sevan - "the Pearl of Armenia" one of the biggest mountain lakes around the world. It is situated righ in the middle of the Armenian highlands. The local fish of the lake is Ishkhan which will be served to our guests in a fish restaurant near the lake., wich also serves kebabs made of Sevan crayfishes. Return to Yerevan. Overnight in the hotel.

A transfer to the pagan temple of Garni built in the 1st century and dedicated to the god of the Sun-Mihr. It has 24 columns which symbolise the 24 hours of the day. Here our guests will also have the opportunity to watch the "Symphony of stones" in the Garni Gorge, which is a natural monument carved out by a lava of an erupted volcano. 
The next monument is the Monastery of Geghard. Another UNESCO world heritage site. This monastery is a true masterpiece of the 13th century Armenian architecture.
A return to Yerevan.

Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting up with the guide. A transfer to Echmiadzin - a UNESCO world heritage site. The Cathedral is best known for being one of the firts Christian temples on the Earth and now it is the center of the Armenian clergy. 
The next stop is at the ruins of the Zvartnots temple literally 'celestial angels cathedral'. It is a 7th-century cathedral built by the order of Catholicos Nerses the builder from 643-652. Now the site holds a museum where tourists can see the huge stone fragments of the cathedral as well as the small reconstruction of the building. 
The last stop is at the Fruit market where our guests can purchase local fresh and dried fruits.
