Arrival in Yerevan. Accommodation in a hotel in Yerevan. Overnight in a hotel in Yerevan.
Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with the guide at the hotel. Visit to the Republic of Armenia Square, “Mother Armenia” statue in Victory Park, Opera and Ballet Building, Swan Lake, Cascade, Cafesjian Museum.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the pagan temple of Garni. The temple was built in the 1st century and is dedicated to the ancient Armenian sun god Mihr. The temple consists of 24 columns, which symbolized the 24 hours of the day. Visit to the Garni Gorge "Symphony of Stones". The Symphony of Stones are basalt rocks in the shape of straight pipes and about 100m high. They are called symphonies because from a distance they resemble an organ. Such rocks are formed when lava suddenly hardens: this form turns out to be energetically favorable. There are especially many such rocks in the Azat River gorge, which is included in the list of UNESCO sites.
Next, move to the Geghard monastery complex (early 4th century), which is included in the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. Geghard Monastery is an inimitable masterpiece of Armenian architecture of the 13th century. Then return to Yerevan. Free time. Overnight at a hotel in Yerevan.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Lake Sevan. Lake Sevan is the “Blue Pearl of Armenia”, one of the largest freshwater, alpine lakes in the world, where the beautiful landscape and crystal water are a good prerequisite for an excellent holiday. The lake is also famous for its peninsula and medieval church complex, built in 874. Next, departure to Dilijan, the greenest resort in Armenia, which is truly called the Armenian Switzerland; this is one of the favorite places for family holidays in Armenia. Walk around the city. Acquaintance with the magnificent nature and city. Next, return to Sevan.
Then return to Yerevan. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
